Conditional Type II

• Bunday gaplar hozirgi zamon yoki kelajakda sodir bo’lish ehtimoli yo’q bo’lgan ish-harakatlarda ishlatiladi.

If I had a lot of money, I would buy a house in Jeneva.

Agar ko`p pulim bo’lganda Jenevada uy sotib olgan bo’lardim. ( lekin hozirda pulim yo’q)

If my car broke down, I would take the bus.

Agar mashinam buzilib qolganda avtobusda kelardim. ( lekin mashinam buzilgani yo’q,kelajakni nazarda tutib gap tuzyapmiz).

•  If + I were ni maslahat berish uchun ishlatamiz:

If I were you, I would talk to my parents.

O’rningda bo’lganimda, ota-onam bilan gaplashgan bo’lardim.

• Biz If gaplarda was o’rniga barcha olmoshlar bilan were ni ishlatsak bo’ladi.

If he were/was here, he would help us solve the problem.

Agar u shu yerda bo’lganida bizga bu muammoni yechishga yordam bergan bo’lardi.

Formulasi:

If + past simple,  + would/could/might+verb (infinitive)

1. If I were you, I would eat more vegetables.
2. If I met him, I would tell him about the party.
3. If Dad worked today, he couldn’t take us to the park.

If I were you, I would live in the countryside.

If the weather was fine, we would go to the mountains
